About Us
Steamboat Snowmobile Tours has been operating custom snowmobile tours in Steamboat Springs since 1989. Our guides are long-time employees who possess a thorough knowledge of the terrain and geography in all of our tour areas. We operate tours on Rabbit Ears Pass, the Flat Tops, and north of Steamboat Springs in the Upper Elk River Valley, with spectacular views of the Mount Zirkel Wilderness Area and surrounding peaks.
Our tours guide riders over and through the Continental Divide. The divide runs along the crest of the Rocky Mountains from British Columbia through the United States, continuing southward into Mexico and Central America. It divides the continent's principal drainage into that flowing eastward (to the Hudson Bay in Canada or to the Mississippi River) and that flowing westward (to the Pacific Ocean!
Choose from our 2 hour tour, half-day with lunch tour, full day tour, or finish your Rocky Mountain day with a gourmet sunset snowmobile tour and gourmet dinner in our cozy log cabin.
Our tours are magical experiences you won't forget. When you glide over the 'postcard' champagne powder on our sheltered mountain meadows, you'll think you're in heaven. We value safety, beautiful scenery and CHILDREN RIDE FREE!
