Bring the following when applying for a marriage license:
Identification (one of the following: driver’s license, birth certificate, or passport, military service record)
$20.00
If either party is divorced, the party must attest to the date and name of the court that the divorce was final.
There is no waiting period, the license is good for 30 days and may be used anywhere within the State of Colorado. No blood test is required.
Those wishing a civil ceremony may contact the Routt County Clerk & Recorder for judges in the area who can perform the ceremony.
