Location
Our boathouse is on 11th Street, between Lincoln Ave. & the Yampa River.

Tubing - Due to cold temperatures and high river flows on the Yampa River this June, we are expecting that our tubing season will open in and around the Forth of July weekend.  What time is best to go tubing: The earlier the better because afternoon rains typically roll in around 1:30 pm and can spoil your float. We will not have set departure times and tubes are rented on a first come-first serve basis. We are limited to how many tubes we can rent on any given day so plan to go tubing earlier in the day than later.

Hours of operation: 10:30 am- 4pm

Cost: $14.00 per tub

How long is the trip: From the time you meet us to the time you leave us, the entire trip is no longer than 2 hours. This of course varies depending on river flows, shuttle time and your own agenda. The tube float itself is no longer than an hour.

Age Limit: 3 years or 30 pounds. Children under 10 must wear a life jacket. The trip is suitable for all ages. Parents must accompany young children.

What to bring: Wear cloths that dry quickly: shorts, bathing suits, tennis shoes, river sandals, hat and sunglasses are suitable. If you do wear a hat or sunglasses, think about fastening them down somehow with Croakies or Chums because if your tube tips over you may loose those items. Raingear, wet suits and booties are available to rent at our boathouse.

Location
Our boathouse is on 11th Street, between Lincoln Ave. & the Yampa River.

Colorado River Runs

About
Established in 1973, Colorado River Runs is among the most experienced river outfitters in Colorado. Our trips are fun, safe and exciting. We stress quality and professional performance in every aspect of our excursions. Colorado River Runs is licensed by the State of Colorado and is a member of the Colorado River Outfitters Association. Our operations are conducted under special permit issued by the United States Bureau of Land Management.

Some splashing and spraying is involved. Wear something light and quick drying such as shorts and a t-shirt or a bathing suit. Footwear is required, sports sandals or water shoes would be ideal. Wetsuit bootie rentals are available for $2.

Because we do get lots of sun, sunscreen and a brimmed hat are recommended. Remember to bring dry clothes to change into after the trip.

Hours
Morning trips and afternoon trips are available. Colorado River Runs requests that rafters arrive at the meeting site 15 minutes prior to departure.
