Steamboat Resorts is committed to providing legendary guest experiences with the goal of minimizing our impact on the environment and becoming a sustainable resort. We encourage you to join us in these efforts by taking part in the guest participation programs listed below.

The following environmental programs have been instituted by Steamboat Resorts:

Water Conservation

• Installing low flow shower heads
• Installing low flow toilets
• Installing low flow faucets
• Implemented a towel reuse program
• Adjusting irrigation timers during inclement weather

Energy Saving

• Turning off lights when not needed
• Installing thermal pool covers
• Improving poorly insulated areas
• Installing energy star appliances
• Installing compact flourecent light bulbs
• Installing digital thermostats

• Implementing a guest recycling program at the majority of our properties
• Administration recycling program
