Mineral Springs Walking Tour – Starts at the Eleanor Bliss Center for the Arts at the Depot. When the early settlers lost their livestock they would look around this mineral spring first because the loved the salty waters. Join a Yampatika naturalist on this easy walking tour to find out which spring, and also learn how the Steamboat Spring was named as well as many more fun mineral spring facts.

Yampa River Botanic Park – 9:00am – 12:00pm – Admission is free
Olympic Heritage Walking Tour – Starts at Olympian Hall at Howelsen parkway. Thus easy walking tour explores Steamboat’s Olympic heritage, the multiple talents of Carl Howelsen, the history of the Steamboat Winter Sports Club, Winter Carnival, Howelsen Hill, and ski jumping. Once at Howelsen Hill, participants will witness the daring feats of ski jumpers soaring through the air during practice.

Downtown Historic Walking Tour – Starts at the Tread of the Pioneers Museum. This easy walking tour highlights the historic building and architecture of downtown Steamboat Springs, town development, and the early settlers. Participants walk past and discuss many historic buildings, including the Old Town Pub, the Pioneer Building, Pilot Building, and more.

Local Photo Tours of the Yampa Valley – On going through the summer and fall: Focus Adventures offers individual and small group photo tours of the Steamboat area, emphasizing The Art of Seeing. Owner Karen Schulman, will guide you in developing your own creative eye and spirit. Karen is an eighteen year resident of Steamboat and has been a professional photographic artist for 29 years. This program runs from June 1 – October 15th. Tours are by appointment – karen@focusadventures.com -

Brown Bag Lecture Series – Come to the Tread of the Pioneers Museum and discover the history of Steamboat Springs through the locals that have lived it. Each one-hour program features a lecture topic that reveals the unique history of the area. Bring a friend and a lunch!

Bud Werner Library Tours – Tours will be lead by volunteer Library Docents from 11:am – 1:00pm, on the half hour.
Steamboat Springs First Friday Artwalk – Offered the first Friday of the Month, the vision of the Artwalk is to foster appreciation of the visual arts in Steamboat and support the growth of the local arts community. Fourteen galleries remain open for this self-guided tour and refreshments are served.
Downtown Steamboat Springs – 5:00pm – 8pm

Touch a Truck – Touch a Truck is a Free community event for everyone! There will be a variety of trucks and vehicles on display including fire trucks, busses, dump trucks, four wheelers and even a Zamboni! Kids are welcome to check out the trucks up close, sit in the drivers seat and even honk the horns. This event will go on rain or shine.
