Valentines Day in Steamboat

By Scott | February 14, 2008

Today is the day of romance - Happy Valentines Day! It is a great time to be in Steamboat Springs but when isn’t it? (All 373 inches of snow should be proof enough as the skiing & riding is excellent.) Interestingly, I once read a study in which 76% of people on vacation tend to feel more romantic. In such a beautiful place like Steamboat its easy to catch that romance bug 365 days a year but since today is Cupid’s day lets think restaurant’s with romance & atmosphere in mind:

Cafe Diva - just off the slopes in Ski Time Square. Nothing speaks romance more than the Diva! (Make sure to have a reservation on Valentine’s Day and most other days too - its that good.)

Three Peak’s Grill - between town and the mountain. The perfect mixture of sophistication, elegance and ambiance.

Antares - fine cuisine & fine wine with great companionship in front of a huge fireplace - does it get more fine than that?

There are so many more great restaurants to choose from - more than 90 to be “somewhat exact”. These are just of few of the favorites I think of first when Valentines Day arrives. Have a great evening, enjoy, and remember to rest up. 373 inches of Champange Powder on the slopes of Steamboat means that your first true love will be waiting for you in the morning!
