Steamboat Springs Fly Fishing
We can accommodate beginners or experts!
Enjoy Steamboat Springs fly fishing during your stay at Steamboat Resorts. Choose from public water on the Yampa River or Sarvis Creek, the tail waters of Stagecoach Resevoir, Steamboat Lake, and more. All your gear (except flies and licenses) can be provided at no additional cost, or use your own. If you like to fly fish or always wanted to learn, we can provide a fishing trip you will always remember.
Listed below are our rates for public waters.
These rates do not include private water fees (if applicable).
Private water fees go to the landowners and range from
$ 75.00 to $ 145.00 per person.
A portion of these fees are used for stream improvements. The maximum client to guide ratio is three to one.
Flyfishing Clinics
Our clinics take place every day at the Lewin Trout Ranch. A three hour class includes: knots, entomolgy, flycasting, and a little fishing. Lunch and gear is included at no additional cost. These classes take a 5:1 client guide ratio. Cost: $ 125/person
